Job description

Purpose of the job

Ensures the correct implementation of fit-out projects for retail stores in shopping centers by analyzing detailed technical documentation, verifying quantity lists, and providing technical support to execution teams and construction sites — so that projects are executed according to plans and established deadlines.


Ideal candidate

• Bachelor's degree in ARCHITECTURE or CONSTRUCTION (or equivalent technical education) — will not practice design, but use their training for implementation and verification.

• Relevant experience in fit-out (retail experience constitutes an advantage)  minimum 1 year.

• Ability to read and interpret plans (architecture, details, installations) and extract useful information for execution.

• Excellent communication skills (clear explanation to workers and subcontractors).

• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and practical problem-solving orientation.

• Organization, prioritization, and resistance to tight deadlines.

• Availability for frequent site visits; driving permit B — an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of working with AutoCAD/Revit (or similar programs) and MS Office.


Main responsibilities

• Analyzes in detail architecture and execution projects for retail fit-out works.

• Verifies conformity of received quantity lists (BOQ) with plans and extracts necessary quantities for: special finishes, special materials, detailed elements.

• Extracts and prepares material lists and practical instructions/support technical information for execution teams.

• Conducts site measurements and verifies quantities/work situations of subcontractors.

• Offers support to construction site teams in interpreting details and unclear or complex elements.

• Identifies discrepancies between project and situation/measurement and proposes corrections or quantity adjustments.

• Collaborates with the buyer and provides technical specifications for details or special finishes (painters or decorative tiling, profiles, etc.).

• Documents technical decisions, adopted variants, and execution modifications (reports, photographs, technical notes).


Requirements and experience

• Higher education: Architecture/Interior Design (preferable) or similar technical studies.

• Practical experience in retail fit-out projects / interior design in shopping centers.

• Very good knowledge of reading and interpreting plans, details, and descriptions from quantity lists.

• Experience in preparing/verifying quantity lists.

• Experience in preparing necessary material requirements.

• Technical communication skills to execution teams (workers, team leaders, subcontractors).

• Organization, rigor, and prioritization of construction site tasks.

• Knowledge of the Office package. 

        • AutoCAD knowledge (Revit represents an advantage) .

• Availability for site visits within/externally.

  •       Availability for extended program in critical phases.
