Specialist HR Operations - Payroll Specialist (w/m/d)

Job description

We are looking for a specialist to work at IONOS, the leading European provider of cloud infrastructure, cloud services, and hosting services. You will be part of our Payroll & HR-Admin Team and ensure that all relevant processes are implemented correctly, on time, and in compliance with laws. You will work closely with HR, Finance, management, employees, and external partners to support the development of our payroll and HR administration processes.

You will be responsible for preparing monthly salary and wage statements, ensuring compliance with labor law and social security regulations, serving as a point of contact for employees regarding salary and HR administration, supporting internal and external audits, optimizing and digitalizing processes, participating in HR projects, and exchanging information with adjacent departments.

The position can be filled at the locations Berlin.

  • Preparation of monthly salary and wage statements including time management and certification procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with labor law and social security regulations.
  • Serving as a point of contact for employees regarding salary and HR administration.
  • Supporting internal and external audits (e.g. social security, labor tax, annual financial statement).
  • Assisting in optimizing and digitalizing processes.
  • Participating in HR projects and exchanging information with adjacent departments.

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training or degree with a focus on personnel management, finance, or comparable qualifications.
  • Professional experience in salary and wage administration and HR administration.
  • Knowledge of labor law and social security regulations.
  • Proficiency in German language (written and spoken).
  • Familiarity with common accounting systems (e.g. SAP SF, EC, SAP HCM or comparable).
  • Experience with time management systems is an advantage.
  • Team spirit, service orientation, and a structured work approach.
  • Interest in digital solutions and process improvements.
