Specialist Electrical Maintenance (fixed-term)

Role of the position

Provides support in planning the maintenance activity of automation equipment within the Maintenance and Logistics Business Unit, as well as in the development of maintenance processes, procedures, and systems for automation equipment.

Main responsibilities

•Coordinates electrical maintenance activity;

•Executes operations for de-energizing or energizing electrical installations, based on the work permit and verbal instructions transmitted by those who have this competence, for the purpose of carrying out maintenance work;

•Performs maintenance work on electrical and electromechanical installations, according to the schedule established by the hierarchical superior and in accordance with operational procedures and work instructions;

•Periodically monitors the technical condition of the internal electrical installations within buildings and annexes, based on received instructions;

•Verifies the condition of tools, protective devices, and measuring instruments before starting work and informs the hierarchical superior about any non-conformities found;

•Performs adjustments for the operation of protection devices, according to operational procedures and work instructions;

•Participates in the rectification of damages and accidents when they occur;

•Is obliged to know, apply, and respect the documents of the Quality Management System;

•Is obliged to know the areas with explosion risk, to apply the operational procedures and specific instructions for working in these areas, and to use compliant ATEX equipment;

•Collects waste resulting from the performed work, for the purpose of its storage in specially arranged spaces.

Ideal candidate

Experience/studies/authorizations

•High school diploma, technical profile;

•Technical studies in the field of Electronics or Industrial Automation;

•Work experience in the field of maintenance of electronic and automation equipment: minimum 3 years;

•Proven results in maintenance activities of electronic and automation equipment;

•Very good practical knowledge in the field of Petroleum Engineering, as well as knowledge of electrical maintenance principles, procedures, and methods;

•Training (training courses) in the field of maintenance of specific automation equipment;

•Knows, applies, and respects the documents of the quality management system directly applicable to the workplace to ensure its continuous improvement;

•Driving license category B;

•Good knowledge of English (written and spoken);

•PC operation knowledge.
