Specialist Bank Accounting- HGB (m/w/d)

Aufgaben

• Participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB (including ledger accounting, provision spectrum, account reconciliations annex, balance sheet report)
• Accounting and booking of ongoing business transactions
• Preparation of monthly reports with a focus on HGB including key figure analysis and financial result preparation
• Contact person for auditors and tax consultants
• Processing of questions/queries regarding national (HGB) accounting, valuation, and other bank regulations
• Participation in tax returns and calculations
• Participation in cross-functional projects and additional tasks in the Finance area

Qualifikation

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, ideally with a focus on finance or accounting, or equivalent qualification
• Relevant experience in areas such as accounting, controlling, financial planning and analysis, or other related fields of a bank, auditing firm, or consulting company
• In-depth experience and confident handling of Excel
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel
• High affinity to IT systems and optimization of interfaces in a diverse IT landscape
• Outstanding analytical skills, decision-making ability, and problem-solving competence
• Meticulousness and attention to detail
