Specialist Air Freight Procurement

Job Objective:

Responsible for procurement activities related to international air transportation, negotiating contracts with service providers, ensuring operational efficiency, contractual compliance, and cost optimization. Acts strategically in selecting suppliers, managing relationships, and market analysis, aligning purchase decisions with the company's logistical and commercial needs.

Job Description:

• Proficiency in cost analysis and complex negotiations with suppliers and clients.
• Support in building costs, establishing competitive prices for air freight services.
• Analysis of contracts, tenders, and requirements for bids and risk evaluation.
• Market monitoring and trends.
• To present to product managers and branch managers market analyses to identify new opportunities and benchmarking.
• Monitor/Audit seasonality, available air capacity, and demand.
• Identify price adjustment opportunities to maximize revenue.
• Manage contracts (allocations) with air mode providers and clients.
• Analyze reports & Monitor KPI's.
• Monitor and report performance indicators, savings, and logistical efficiency.
• Prepare management reports to support decision-making.
• Develop and maintain solid relationships with suppliers.
• Monitor Supplier Performance and Relationship Management.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and digitalization of procurement processes.
