Special Education Team Lead

Company Description Brain Bristle is a high-impact not-for-profit foundation for autism and inclusion, currently based in Mumbai. The organization works with low-income schools across the city to build high-quality education, exposure, and inclusion for students on the autism spectrum and other high learning needs. Brain Bristle focuses on building inclusive school environments from the ground-up, strengthening advocacy for autism, and conducting workshops and awareness programs to expand the reach of our mission. The Special Education Team Lead will be responsible for leading a team of special education professionals in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with autism and other learning needs. This role requires strong leadership skills, experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum, and a deep understanding of inclusive education practices. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing IEPs for students with autism and other learning needs • Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure student success • Providing training and coaching to team members on best practices in special education • Building relationships with schools and community partners to expand program reach • Staying up-to-date on the latest research and trends in autism and inclusive education. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Special Education or a related field, 3+ years of experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum, and strong leadership skills.
