amIDon is an institution for youth and integration assistance and has been successfully supporting young people and adults on their way back to a life without eating disorders since 2002.

For our stationary therapeutic residential community in Uelzen, we are looking for a

Social Worker (m/f/d)

in full-time (38.5 hours) or part-time.

• Shaping the pedagogical and therapeutic daily routine of people with eating disorders as an "everyday manager"
• Coordination of care in agreement with the responsible authorities, therapists, teachers, etc.
• Pedagogical individual and group counseling
• Parental counseling and participation in the care planning process
• Maintaining client records
• As a primary therapist, you will work weekdays and weekends in a team with psychologists, educators, and nutritionists. Night on-call duties will be handled by educators.

We wish you to have enjoyment in taking responsibility, independent and structured work within a team, resilience and reliability, communication and reflection skills, a high degree of social competence, and readiness for flexible working hours, as shifts often start in the afternoon.
You have a completed degree as a social worker/social pedagogue. Additional qualifications and experience in youth welfare and/or integration assistance and in working with people with eating disorders would be advantageous.
