What You'll Do: * Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen, while upholding the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation. * Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and execute new menu items and seasonal specials, while staying informed on current culinary trends and techniques. * Oversee and train kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a positive and productive work environment. * Manage inventory and food costs, ensuring that all food items are properly stored, rotated, and utilized to minimize waste. * Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations. * Provide exceptional guest service, addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally. * Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and functioning, reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel. What You'll Bring: * Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de Partie in a high-volume, full-service restaurant. * Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques, including but not limited to grilling, sautéing, roasting, and plating. * Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. * Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. * Ability to train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. * Passion for the culinary arts and a desire to create memorable dining experiences for guests.
