Sous Chef

G2 Italian is seeking an experienced and talented Sous Chef in Italian cuisine to join our team in our restaurant located in Burnside, SA 5065. This is a full-time role, offering flexible hours to the right candidate.

• Preparing and cooking a range of Italian dishes, serving lunch, bar and dinner menus to a consistently high standard
• Ensuring all food is presented beautifully and in line with G2 Italian's brand and quality standards

• Work effectively and keep calm, respecting your team members, and maintain a well-organized, clean, and safe working environment
• Collaborating with the wider team to provide an exceptional dining experience for our customers
• Adhering to all food safety and health regulations

• Minimum one year of experience in Italian cuisine, ideally in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Diploma in Hospitality Management (including Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery/Kitchen Management) or at least three years of relevant experience in lieu of formal qualifications
• Excellent cooking skills and knowledge of a wide range of Italian dishes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for delivering high-quality food and customer service
• Food safety certification and understanding of relevant regulations
