Assembling Welder (M/F)

Our industrial partner, specialized in manufacturing industrial equipment, is currently looking for an assembling welder who will perform welding on pieces of different sizes and assemblies.

• Read and interpret welding plans and symbols to perform required welds;
  
• Verify the positioning, dimensions, and alignment of pieces before welding;
  
• Select the appropriate welding equipment and filler material according to the welding procedure;
  
• Weld various materials and thicknesses using different procedures;
  
• Perform pressure tests and/or hydrostatic testing when required;
  
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times;
  
• Perform any other tasks related to the welder position.
  

• Completed DEP in welding/montage or relevant experience;
  
• 4-5 years of experience as a welder;
  
• Mastery of MIG welding procedures in all positions and TIG;
  
• Comfortable with reading plans;
  
• Ability to adapt to different environments (enclosed spaces, height, temperature variations, etc.);
  
• Experience with a rolling bridge (an asset);
  
• Fine attention to detail and rigor;
  
• Able to work independently and be resourceful.
  

• Permanent daytime position, 40 hours/week;
  
• Salary: $27.36-$35.08/hour, depending on experience;
  
• Possibility of overtime work;
  
• Flexible schedule.
