Job Duties:

• Utilise hosting skills to provide exceptional customer service
• Conduct stocktakes and manage inventory effectively
• Provide training and mentoring to staff on wine knowledge and service
• Expertise in wine pairing to enhance the dining experience

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience working as a sommelier
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of wine varieties and regions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education:

Relevant qualifications related to the feild of expertise

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role

Knowledge and Skills:

• Extensive knowledge of wine production and tasting techniques
• Ability to recommend and describe wines to customers
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced certification from a recognised wine institution
• Experience in conducting wine tastings and events

Working Conditions:

The working cycle will be discussed with the employer, but it is a bush based role so you will be mostly likely work a 6week on 2 week off type of cycle.
