Solutions Sales Engineer – Food Processing Technology (Eastern Europe)

The role: As the technical–commercial link within one of the world’s leading suppliers to the food industry, the Solutions Sales Engineer works closely with regional sales teams across Eastern Europe. When customer inquiries become specific, they provide detailed input on specifications, applications and the added value of GEA’s processing solutions (such as marinating, forming, slicing, mixing, or packaging for meat, fish, poultry, plant-based products and vegetables; all aimed at quality, efficiency and sustainability. The Solutions Sales Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs. This includes identifying opportunities for GEA’s processing technologies to improve customer processes, increase efficiency, reduce costs and enhance product quality. In addition, the role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders such as sales teams, technical experts and other departments to ensure that customer needs are met and that GEA’s products and services are effectively marketed and sold. The Solutions Sales Engineer will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with industry trends, market developments and competitor activity, and using this knowledge to inform their sales strategy and provide valuable insights to customers.
