Solutions Architect

Job description

SATO is a leading global provider of Auto-ID solutions that connect people, goods and information. Integrating auto-ID technologies with hardware as solutions, we tag identifiers to things and people at the site of business operations and feed data to IT systems for processing. Position Summary: Design and propose AIDC solutions (printers, barcode, RFID, mobile devices) that meet customer needs and provide innovative solutions for supply chain management, inventory control, and asset tracking. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of SATO's products and services. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and propose AIDC solutions that meet customer needs. • Conduct site assessments and gather requirements from customers to develop tailored solutions. • Design, test, and implement AIDC solutions using various technologies such as printers, barcode scanners, RFID readers, and mobile devices. • Ensure seamless integration of AIDC solutions with existing IT systems and infrastructure. • Provide technical support and training to customers on the use and maintenance of AIDC solutions. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the field of Auto-ID and supply chain management. • Participate in sales and marketing efforts to promote SATO's products and services. • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams. • Contribute to the development of new business opportunities and revenue growth through innovative solutions and strategic partnerships. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred. • 5+ years of experience in AIDC solutions design, implementation, and maintenance. • Strong understanding of Auto-ID technologies, including printers, barcode scanners, RFID readers, and mobile devices. • Experience with supply chain management, inventory control, and asset tracking systems. • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. • Benefits: SATO offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
