Thanks to your efforts, you will ensure a technical architecture that makes our iGaming and Lottery platforms future-proof, secure, and scalable. With this, you directly contribute to a happy, healthy, and sporty Netherlands. You will score as a Solutions Architect by:

• leading the architecture for business-critical iGaming and Lottery platforms in terms of quality, security, and scalability.
• validating high-risk architecture designs and ensuring technical integrity across multiple teams.
• defining organization-wide design patterns, technical standards, and best practices.
• providing technical leadership and supporting engineers, business, and solutions architects.
• designing end-to-end platform architectures with high availability and scalability on Azure.
• applying security-by-design principles, including zero-trust and threat modeling at the platform level.
• translating complex technical architecture choices into clear advice for management and stakeholders.
• monitoring technical integrity and reusability through architecture governance at the product level.
• identifying and actively steering the reduction of technical debt with a data-driven approach.

And you'll probably want to know this too: as a Solutions Architect at Nederlandse Loterij, you will work closely with Enterprise Architects, Product Managers, and Engineering teams. You will report to the Director of Architecture & Analysis.

• a completed Bachelor's or Master's degree (Computer Science or a technical direction is a plus)
• at least 5 years of work experience as an Architect (preferably as a Solution/Domain Architect)
• azure cloud-native architecture experience and knowledge of high-availability systems are a plus
• very good command of the English language

Furthermore, you possess a strong technical foundation and the ability to clearly communicate complex issues to various stakeholders. You combine strategic insight with practical decisiveness, know how to create support for technical choices, and involve teams in your vision. Through coaching and knowledge sharing, you stimulate engineers and architects to grow continuously.

As a Solutions Architect, we offer you:

• a salary between €5,500 and €9,000 gross per month, depending on your experience
• an interesting bonus scheme
• a role for 32-40 hours per week
• for €3.25, you can enjoy a healthy and varied lunch in our company restaurant
