Solution Engineer

Are you a technical talent with an affinity for electrical engineering and lighting? As a Solution Engineer at our company, you will translate project specifications into thoughtful and executable LED system configurations that perfectly match the customer's wishes!

Your Role

• Selecting the right LED system components, taking into account compatibility, costs, availability, and safety, and aligning with the specific needs of the project.
• Assessing project specifications and system designs and identifying the key design elements based on this.
• Creating detailed system drawings (wiring diagrams, layout diagrams, installation manuals) to support effective and efficient installation and system implementation.
• Developing detailed work instructions and assembly manuals for the production department and external installers to ensure accurate and efficient implementation. Developing detailed installation manuals for external installers, including all necessary steps for system construction, programming, testing, and commissioning.
• Providing technical support during the production and installation phases.
• Documenting system solutions in the product and system library, including drawings, component lists, and work instructions.
• Updating and managing the product and system library to ensure accuracy and accessibility for project stakeholders.

Who We're Looking For

• You have at least an MBO level 4 thinking level, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• You have experience with technical drawings (CAD or SolidWorks).
• You have an affinity for LED technology and technical standards such as CE, ISO, and NEN.
• You are familiar with VCA.
• You have good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• You have at least completed a relevant internship.
• You possess analytical and solution-oriented abilities to translate project specifications into smart system configurations.
• You work accurately and are quality-conscious to meet high technical standards.
• You are strong in communication and enjoy working collaboratively with different teams.
• You can effectively plan and prioritize to meet deadlines.
