Solution Engineer 100% (a)

As a Solution Engineer at gateB, you translate complex customer requirements into viable technical solutions. You combine consulting, technology, and implementation, accompanying our clients in the conception, implementation, and further development of CRM, marketing automation, data, and AI solutions. 

You will work on demanding national and international projects. In doing so, you will support our clients from the initial idea through initial prototypes and pilot solutions to productive launch. You will take on technical responsibility, work closely with clients, consultants, development teams, and technology partners, and ensure that solutions are implemented on time, with high quality, and with demonstrable customer benefit.

• Analysis of business processes and customer requirements as well as development of system concepts and solution designs in direct exchange with clients and internal project teams
• Conception of workflows, customer journeys, data flows, and interfaces, as well as creation of actionable briefings for development and implementation
• Technical conception, specification, and implementation of CRM, marketing automation, data, and AI solutions based on partner technologies such as BSI and Salesforce, as well as gateB's own solutions
• Configuration and implementation of cloud and enterprise solutions including reports, system masks, data and metadata models, user management, and business logic
• Creation of Proof-of-Concepts and Minimum Viable Products, support with effort estimations, and accompaniment of data, content, and system migrations and integrations
• Taking technical responsibility and acting as the primary technical contact person in implementation projects, ensuring time, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction
• Coordination of internal development teams as well as project members at partners and clients; ensuring testing, quality assurance, technical documentation, training, and system roll-outs
• Proactive resource planning, early identification of bottlenecks, and cost-conscious consulting during implementation
• Support of the sales process through RFIs, RFPs, and sales demos, as well as observation and classification of new technologies and partner solutions with regard to feasibility and customer benefit
• Building and further developing your know-how, active knowledge transfer to the team and our clients, as well as co-shaping software partnerships in the areas of AI and enterprise software

• University degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable field of study; alternatively, technical basic training with corresponding professional experience
• Proven experience in the conception, implementation, and configuration of enterprise software solutions
• Experience with CRM, marketing automation, data, or content platforms – ideally from a service provider perspective
• Practical experience or in-depth understanding of the application of AI technologies and their integration into business processes
• Confident handling of customer requirements, system design, interfaces, data flows, and quality assurance, as well as experience with effort estimations, technical documentation, and interdisciplinary project work
• Consulting and solution-oriented personality with deep technical understanding, high technical affinity, and enthusiasm for AI
• Customer-oriented implementer with initiative, a desire to learn, a pragmatic approach to work, and enjoyment of taking responsibility
• Strong communication skills, approachable, and confident demeanor – with the ability to build trust with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Analytical, conceptual, and structured way of working, as well as commitment in coordination, prioritization, and implementation
• Flexible, willing to travel, and open to collaborating with people from different cultures
• Fluent German and English skills
