Tasks

We are looking for an experienced Solution Consultant who supports ERP implementation projects from a functional financial perspective. You will act as a link between accounting departments and technical ERP teams, ensuring that financial processes are properly designed, implemented, and optimized.

You play a key role in implementing accounting requirements into ERP configurations and support customers during the smooth transition to new systems.

The tasks include:

• Leading financial and accounting workstreams in ERP implementation projects
• Analyzing and re-designing financial processes (main book, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, cost accounting, etc.)
• Implementing accounting requirements into ERP system configurations
• Supporting the design of chart of accounts and migrating financial data
• Defining report structures and compliance requirements
• Conducting workshops with customer finance teams
• Supporting tests (UAT), training, and go-live activities
• Ensuring compliance with local GAAP/IFRS requirements
• Identifying process improvements and automation opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. A professional qualification in accounting (e.g., CPA, ACCA, tax consultant) is highly desirable.
• Experience as an accountant in a German or European company. In-depth knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB), IFRS, and EU financial regulations.
• In-depth knowledge of financial reporting and closing processes.
• Practical experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, etc.).
• Experience in ERP implementation projects is a big plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Very good German language skills
