Solution Architect

Job description

What will you do:

What will you do?

As an Architect, you are part of the Business Development department, which falls under the Chief Strategy Officer. Within this team, there are two roles: Solution Architect and Account Architect. We are looking for reinforcements for both roles. We would be happy to discuss during your application which role best suits you. A combination is certainly possible.

In the role of Account Architect, you are responsible for innovation and development of the roadmap for existing clients in the area of managed services. In the role of Solution Architect, you are responsible for the solution we offer to large new clients.

In both roles, you translate the requirements and wishes of the client into the right combination of OGD's services and solutions, both technically and organizationally. In other words, you need to know, for example, in broad terms how PURVIEW works, but you also need to understand how a service desk and its associated resolution times function.

As a Solution Architect, alongside the Bid Manager, you are the central player in creating our commercial offering and work with virtually all disciplines within OGD, such as Sales, Product Owners, Technical Specialists, and Service (Delivery) Managers, to deliver a winning bid. You will safeguard the business case, the win strategy, and the quality and coherence of the documents you create with the Proposal Manager. You will present the solution to the client, to internal stakeholders, provide solicited and unsolicited advice, and represent the OGD organization. You are a team player and bring the right people together. You want to know a little bit about everything. You see where the opportunities and risks lie and enjoy the commercial game. You work from and with OGD's portfolio and identify opportunities to build business cases for the development of new services.

As an Account Architect, the focus is on existing clients. You will bridge the gap between the client's request, operations, and OGD's portfolio in terms of content. You will have regular contact with various key figures at the client so that you can answer their questions. You will coach the OGD management team and, together with this team, identify opportunities for improvement. At the same time, you know the developments in the market and in the OGD portfolio like no other, so you know which OGD best practices align well with the client. In this way, in collaboration with the Account and Customer Manager, you ensure that we implement innovation and continuous improvement. You are responsible for ensuring that innovations and improvements are included in the roadmap.

The Solution Management team consists of approximately fifteen Account and Solution Architects, most of whom combine roles. The team as a whole is responsible, in addition to client development, for overarching architectural principles and for contributing to portfolio developments based on client demand.
