Solution Architect (External Consultant)

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect (External Consultant – Advanced Level, 7+ years) to join our team and support complex ICT projects in the context of digital transformation and modernization initiatives.
Although this is a remote position, the role requires the consultant to be located within 2 hours’ driving distance from the client’s headquarters in Warsaw, Poland, to ensure physical availability when needed.

• Lead the definition and validation of architectural requirements in alignment with business goals and IT strategy.
• Design and document solution architectures ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance with enterprise architecture standards.
• Support business analysis and requirement gathering from key stakeholders.
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications and architecture designs.
• Provide architectural guidance across application, data, infrastructure, and integration layers.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, platforms, and products.
• Oversee technical delivery and ensure architecture alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and quality across all solutions.
• Conduct impact analysis and risk assessments.
• Produce comprehensive documentation including solution blueprints, models, and interface definitions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in IT architecture roles, particularly in complex and large-scale ICT projects.

• Proven experience in at least three of the following architecture domains:

• Application Architecture
• Data Architecture
• Infrastructure Architecture
• Integration Architecture
• Security Architecture

• Have hands-on experience in guiding digital transformation projects from an architectural perspective.
• Are comfortable producing high-quality technical documentation and architectural blueprints.
• Work effectively in multicultural and distributed teams.
• Are able to analyze and assess legacy environments and propose modernization strategies.
• Have a strong problem-solving mindset and can operate autonomously when needed.
