Solution Architect (All Genders)

You bring business and technology together and develop well-thought-out software architectures from complex requirements that are convincing in terms of content and technically robust. As a Solution Architect, you will accompany our customers from the initial clarification of the problem through solution design to agile implementation.

Depending on the project, you will work on e-commerce solutions, web applications, DXP, integrations, and cloud architectures. You will use AI and GenAI specifically where they create tangible added value and can be operated safely, economically, and reliably.

• You will clarify goals, requirements, and framework conditions together with our customers. You will keep quality requirements such as scalability, security, and operation in mind from the very beginning.
• You will translate the requirements into technical target architectures. To do this, you will develop architecture diagrams as well as API and integration concepts and present technical decisions in a comprehensible manner.
• You will compare solution options and evaluate technologies as well as existing system landscapes based on benefit, risks, and effort. You will make target conflicts transparent and create a sound basis for decisions.
• You will contribute your expertise in customer workshops and, if necessary, in pitch phases. You will also support the architecture from conception to implementation.
• You will work closely with development, product ownership, project management, and sales. With your technical perspective, you will support the teams in making decisions and structuring roadmaps and effort estimations.
• You will check AI and GenAI use cases for business benefits and feasibility. If their use makes sense, you will design the integration into the existing system landscape, taking into account data, data protection, quality, costs, and operation.
• You will use AI-assisted development tools specifically where they make development processes more efficient or improve the quality of results.

• You have already conceptualized software solutions and accompanied technical architecture decisions through to implementation.
• You document architectural concepts clearly and can competently assess system designs, APIs, integrations, and data flows.
• You have sound experience in at least one relevant area – for example, e-commerce, web applications, DXP, cloud, or distributed systems. You are happy to familiarize yourself with related topics.
• You explain technical options and their impact on quality, security, effort, and operation clearly and comprehensibly.
• You moderate confidently, communicate clearly with various stakeholders, and enjoy working with customers and development teams.
• You already use AI tools in practice and can realistically assess GenAI use cases based on their benefits, feasibility, and risks.
