Introduction

Are you looking for a varied and challenging job where you are responsible for the water purification process during training or deployment? Do you have (at least) a VMBO-BB diploma? Then become Soldier Logistiek Bevoorrading & Transport at the Landmacht! As a soldier logistiek bevoorrading & transport at Defensie, you can go in all directions. Think of loading, storing and unloading goods, being responsible for the water purification process and setting up bath/shower installations during training or deployment.

This is what you'll do

As a soldier Logistiek Bevoorrading & Transport, you will work at the Bevoorrading & Transport Commando (B&TCo), the logistics unit of the landmacht and part of the Operationeel Ondersteuningscommando Land (OOCL). This unit is involved in loading, storing and unloading goods such as food, fuel, spare parts and ammunition. As Soldier Logistiek Bevoorrading & Transport, you can specialize in one of the above-mentioned goods, but you can also be placed at the services platoon. Within the services platoon, you will take care of various facility services. Think of purifying water and thus producing drinking water, or setting up bath/shower installations where colleagues can freshen up.

• Veelzijdig: Logistics is always needed, during every training or deployment. You will therefore be at various locations and work with diverse parties.

This is where you'll work

You will work at the Bevoorrading & Transport Commando (B&TCo) in Stroe. The B&TCo is part of the Operationeel Ondersteuningscommando Land (OOCL). The OOCL provides operational support to the combat units of Defensie.

Before you start working, you will first follow the Basis Opleiding Koninklijke Landmacht (BOKL) in Ermelo. This training lasts 10 weeks. Then you will follow the Voortgezette Logistieke Opleiding (VLO) in Stroe.
