Solar PV Project Engineer – Italy Location: Italy Employer: IPP leader (Independent Power Producer) Sector: Renewable Energies – Photovoltaic The Green Recruitment Company collaborates with a major international IPP in the search for a Solar PV Project Engineer to support the rapid expansion of the photovoltaic portfolio in Italy. With over 10 GW in operation in Europe and offices in Latin America and the United States, this represents a unique opportunity to join a leading company in the renewable energy sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solar PV engineering, with experience in project development, construction, and commissioning of photovoltaic power plants. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, combined with excellent communication skills, is essential for this role. Responsibilities: • Project management: manage the development, construction, and commissioning of solar PV projects from concept to completion; • Technical coordination: coordinate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, procurement, and construction teams, as well as external partners and suppliers; • Risk assessment and mitigation: identify and mitigate potential risks associated with project execution; • Budget management: manage project budgets and ensure timely delivery of projects within budget constraints; • Stakeholder engagement: engage with stakeholders, including customers, investors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure successful project outcomes. Requirements: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering); • At least 3-5 years of experience in solar PV engineering, with a focus on project development and construction; • Strong understanding of solar PV technology, including inverters, trackers, and monitoring systems; • Experience with project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Asana); • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; • Fluency in English is required.
