Solar PV Construction Manager

A leading vertically integrated engineering, procurement, and construction company operating across Africa, is currently seeking a skilled Solar PV Construction Manager to join their dynamic team in Cape Town (CPT) or Johannesburg (JHB). The role involves overseeing all technical construction aspects of solar PV projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery. Responsibilities Maintain construction progress in line with the project schedule. Manage subcontractor scope of works (electrical, mechanical, civil, etc.). Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with the project specifications, relevant laws, and regulations. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Monitor and control construction costs, ensuring that they are within budget. Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact the project's timely delivery. Ensure that all construction activities are properly documented and recorded. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and provide guidance to subcontractors. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers. Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards. Perform other duties as required.
