Solar Project Manager

Position Title: Solar Project Engineer

Experience Required: 1 - 3 years

Salary Range: ₹3 - 4.5 LPA

Location: Bangalore

Solar Project engineer we will require strong candidate who will handled megawatt projects too

Responsibilities:

• Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and load analysis.
• Assist in project proposals, defining technical specifications, timelines, and budgets.
• Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Plan procurement and logistics for solar panels, inverters, and other components.

Project Execution & Construction:

• Supervise on-site installation, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and suppliers for smooth execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure proper installation and commissioning.

Project Completion & Handover:

• Perform system testing and commissioning to ensure functionality and grid compliance.
• Prepare project documentation, including operation & maintenance manuals.
• Train clients on system operations and maintenance procedures.
• Conduct post-project evaluation and report lessons learned.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• Experience: 1 - 3 years in solar PV project management or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, system design, and power distribution.
• Familiarity with technical software such as PVsyst, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
• Understanding of electrical engineering concepts, safety standards, and grid interconnection.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in solar project budgeting and financing.
• Knowledge of relevant building codes, permitting processes, and quality control.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
