Solar Project Manager - Cape Town

Description Hire Resolve's client, a reputable solar energy company, is seeking a skilled Solar Project Manager to join their team in Cape Town. As a Solar Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of solar energy projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure that all projects adhere to quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Develop and execute project plans, including identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and managing stakeholder expectations. Manage project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment, to achieve project objectives. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, such as engineering, procurement, and construction teams, to ensure seamless integration of solar energy projects into the company's overall strategy. Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and suppliers to drive business growth and opportunities. Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, including developing proposals, pitches, and presentations to secure new solar energy projects. Requirements Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, construction management, or environmental science. At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the renewable energy sector. Strong understanding of solar energy technologies, including photovoltaic systems, energy storage, and grid connection. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
