With 75 employees, IT&I GmbH is a software development and consulting company based in Berlin-Mitte. We develop and operate tailor-made software applications for the energy industry. We support our customers in implementing IT requirements in a dynamic environment shaped by the energy transition using agile methods.

To strengthen our team in Berlin, we are looking for a Software Tester Test Automation (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

What You Do With Us

• You conceptualize, create, and perform evaluations of software tests for a large backend system
• You develop independent test automation solutions
• You analyze and document errors for continuous improvement of our products
• You analyze specifications and other documentation for test execution
• You support all phases of software development in an agile working environment (planning, specification, delivery)
• You identify and execute functional test cases in the API
• You assess software quality
• You support project managers and developers in quality improvement processes

What You Ideally Bring

• You have a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification and several years of experience in the conception, creation, elaboration, execution, and evaluation of software tests
• You have comprehensive knowledge of methods and procedures in software testing
• Knowledge of programming languages Java, JavaScript, and Gherkin, as well as PowerShell, is an advantage
• Knowledge of common API testing tools like Postman or similar, as well as working with Azure DevOps environments, is an advantage
• Your "nice to have" would be ISTQB certifications
• You possess analytical skills to understand system interdependencies and error patterns
• A high standard of quality, creativity, perseverance, and persistence combined with teamwork and a high degree of initiative characterize you
• Strong communication skills in German (C1) and English (B1) complete your profile
