sovero GmbH, a renowned company in the technology and information sector based in Frankfurt am Main, is looking for a Software Tester (m/f/d) on a full-time basis to strengthen our team.

Tasks

As a software tester, you will make a crucial contribution to the quality of our solutions: with your eye for detail and your demand for quality, you ensure that the software developed together in the team reliably reaches our thousands of users error-free.

AN EXCITING RANGE OF TASKS

In this role as a software tester, you are part of our quality assurance and take on a central task in ensuring software quality. Your focus is on manual testing: you carry out existing test scenarios, develop new test cases, and continuously adapt them to new requirements. In doing so, you ensure a structured and traceable test coverage of our applications.

Part of your area of responsibility is close collaboration in an agile Scrum team. There, you will accompany the development of new features from a testing perspective, review implemented functionalities, and independently derive test cases from user stories and functional requirements. Within the framework of Test-Driven Development (TDD), you will also contribute to defining and establishing suitable test scenarios early on.

Furthermore, you will actively work on the further development of our QA processes. Prospectively, there is the opportunity to further develop in the area of test automation, especially in the environment of UI tests.

Qualification

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

• Initial experience in software testing, ideally in manual testing
• Ability to independently derive and create test scenarios and test cases from user stories and requirements
• Structured approach to carrying out and documenting tests
• Understanding of software development processes, ideally in an agile environment (Scrum)
• Teamwork skills as well as a careful and analytical way of working
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken

Also beneficial are:

• Knowledge in test automation, especially in the area of UI tests (e.g., Playwright)
• Experience with GitLab
• Basic technical understanding
• Experience in exploratory testing
