As Softwaretester:in, you will make a decisive contribution to the quality of our solutions: With your keen eye for detail and your quality standards, you will ensure that the software developed by our team arrives reliably and error-free at our thousands of users.

A SPANNENDES AUFGABENFELD

In this role of the/Software tester:in, you will be part of our quality assurance and take on a central task in ensuring software quality. Your focus lies on manual testing: You will conduct existing test scenarios, develop new test cases, and continuously adapt these to new requirements. You will ensure a structured and traceable test coverage of our applications.

A part of your task area is close collaboration in an agile Scrum team. There, you will accompany the development of new features from a testing perspective, check implemented functionalities, and lead independent test cases from user stories and technical requirements. In the context of Test-Driven Development (TDD), you will also work on defining and establishing suitable test scenarios early on.

Furthermore, you will actively work on the further development of our QS processes. Prospectively, there is the possibility for you to develop further in the area of test automation, especially in the context of UI tests.

Qualifikation

• First experience in software testing, ideally in manual testing
• Ability to derive and create test scenarios and test cases independently from user stories and requirements
• Structured approach to conducting and documenting tests
• Understanding of software development processes, ideally in an agile environment (Scrum)
• Teamwork skills, as well as a meticulous and analytical working style
• Very good German language skills in writing and speaking

From an advantage:

• Knowledge of test automation, especially in the area of UI tests (e.g. Playwright)
• Experience with GitLab
• Basic technical understanding
• Experience in exploratory testing
