Software Engineer Modernization (m/w/d)

In this diverse function, you will work as part of a project team on modernization projects for our packaging systems and contribute significantly to the success of Syntegon.

• You will independently handle and maintain the technical side of modernization projects (Software & Hardware), from the offer to the order, and develop optimal solutions to meet customer requirements (from concept development to remote support during commissioning to documentation).
• In the context of these modernization projects, you will program control systems and drive systems with Rockwell (CLX with various software concepts and machine generations) to adapt, modify schematics in E3, and make changes to the HMI.
• As a member of interdisciplinary project teams, you will work closely with colleagues from the Electro (SW/HW) team, project management, mechanical design, assembly, and commissioning.
• You will support our field service personnel in technical questions with the end customer.
