Our customer is making ROCKET SCIENCE;-). As the best "Newcomer" of the industry and "Most Attractive Employer in Saxony" in 2025, the customer develops communication solutions for satellite systems. In doing so, they specialize in designing new procedures for satellite-based message transmission.

Aufgaben

• Development of software components for satellite communication
• Accompaniment of the entire development process from prototype phase to series maturity
• Implementation of communication standards and protocols
• Creation of unit and system tests for quality assurance
• Error analysis, diagnosis, and debugging of software solutions
• Development and optimization of algorithms for data processing
• Configuration and adaptation of operating systems, even in real-time environments
• Collaboration in interdisciplinary teams with hardware-, software-, system- and test developers

Qualifikation

• Techical studies (e.g. computer science, engineering) or equivalent qualification
• In-depth knowledge of software development
• Advanced programming skills in C, C++ and Python
• Practical experience with Linux operating systems and their programming
• Knowledge of software tests and test tools
• Basic understanding of virtualization technologies is advantageous
• Experience with version control and continuous integration is desirable
• Knowledge of communication technologies is advantageous
• Very good German language skills
