About our customer

Our customer is an internationally successful, family-owned technology company with its headquarters in Kempten in the Allgäu. The company stands for highest precision, innovation, and technological excellence in the development of complex systems and components.

Tasks

As Development Engineer High-Frequency Technology and Test Technology (m/w/d), you are responsible for developing high-precision test systems for radar and antennas and ensuring that innovative products are optimally testable from the development phase onwards.

Development of application-oriented software solutions for high-precision high-frequency test systems from spectrum analyzers within a specialized development team, taking into account economic, temporal, qualitative, and technological framework conditions

• Conceptualization and setup of a modular software platform for testing end devices in a highly innovative development environment
• Definition, development, and implementation of software standards in the context of end-of-line testing within a complex electronics production with a focus on maintainability and scalability
• Verification of developed test applications and transfer to a stable and smooth test operation, including continuous further development
• Proactive coordination and steering of work packages within project leadership until handover of the solutions to users in close coordination with relevant interfaces

Qualification

• Degree in technical informatics, electrical engineering or comparable qualification
• Fundamental programming knowledge (preferably C#)
• First experiences working with devices of spectral analysis or performance measurement technology
• Structured and self-reliant work style with a strong sense of responsibility and cooperative teamwork within the development team
• Very good German language skills on at least B2 level for collaboration in project and production environment
• Safe English language skills in writing and speaking for working with technical documentation and international interfaces
