At ScanHaus Marlow, we don't buy off-the-shelf software for every new requirement. We develop it ourselves.

With Python and open-source technologies, we continuously expand our digital corporate world – from business processes and interfaces to our own applications for our employees.

For this, we are looking for another Software Developer (m/f/d) for our IT team in Marlow.

If you want to do more than just operate software, but also develop, design, and improve it yourself, you've come to the right place.

Tasks

Odoo is our platform – you will further develop it.

• Development with Python – from custom modules to individual applications
• Development of our employee app for communication, time tracking, and digital services
• Development of APIs and interfaces for connecting other systems
• Digitization and automation of company processes
• Technical conception and implementation in collaboration with our specialist departments
• Further development of our in-house software and open-source landscape

What's special about it: Your software will actually be used here. You will develop solutions that directly improve the daily work of our employees and the company's processes.

Our long-term goal: greater technological independence through open source.

Qualifications

You enjoy programming, like to think in terms of solutions, and want to develop more than just tickets.

Ideally, you bring with you:

• Studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or similar, or a comparable apprenticeship, e.g., IT Specialist for Application Development
• practical experience in software development
• good knowledge of Python
• ideally experience with Odoo / OpenERP
• knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript
• experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• understanding of REST APIs and interfaces
• experience with Git and Docker
• interest in Linux and Open Source
• independent and structured way of working
• enjoyment in understanding and further developing existing systems
• teamwork and communication skills
• good German and English language skills

Advantageous

• experience in Odoo module development
• CI/CD
• API development and system integration
• PostgreSQL / MS-SQL
• knowledge of .NET or Kubernetes
