To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Software Developer (m/f/d) with experience in Moodle as soon as possible, to further develop our learning platform technically and to translate innovative learning concepts into powerful digital solutions together with our Learning Design Team.

• Further development and optimization of our Moodle-based learning platform
• Development of new extensions and interfaces
• Adaptation and modernization of existing Moodle components
• Analysis and optimization of performance, security, and user-friendliness
• Participation in the technical conception of new digital learning offerings
• Close collaboration with our Learning Design Team for the development of innovative didactic concepts
• Integration of external systems via REST APIs and standards such as LTI or SCORM
• Support with updates, releases, and quality assurance
• Technical support and error analysis for our Moodle environment
• Documentation of developments and best practices

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in development with Moodle
• Very good knowledge of PHP as well as the Moodle Core APIs
• Experience with MySQL/MariaDB
• Proficient use of Git
• Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of web services, REST APIs, and authentication methods (OAuth, SAML, LDAP) is desirable
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Enjoyment of teamwork and interest in modern technologies

• Hybrid working at one of our locations in Hanover, Munich, or Leipzig – or fully remote if you live further away from our locations.
