Software Developer (m/w/d) C# / .NET with SQL Knowledge & AI Focus

We are an innovative and growing company with a focus on the metalworking industry. Our product IT-Blech – a specialized ERP/PPS software – supports our customers in shaping processes more efficiently, transparently, and sustainably.

To consistently develop our software landscape towards modern architecture and intelligent automation, we are looking for a C#/.NET developer (m/w/d) with solid SQL knowledge and enthusiasm for modern technologies.
You will analyze existing database structures, support the modernization of our architecture, and use AI-supported tools to accelerate and improve development processes.

Blazor Server will be the central platform for our new user interface – experience with it is advantageous but not necessarily required.

Tasks

• Supporting the modernization of our applications in Blazor Server through analysis and further development of existing SQL databases (T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Views, Triggers)
• Active use and integration of AI-supported tools for code analysis, creation, optimization, and quality assurance
• Analyzing and gradually transferring data-centric logic in C#, .NET, Blazor Server, and API architecture approaches
• Performance tuning, data modeling, and ensuring high-quality data as a stable basis for modernization and AI-supported functions
• Closely collaborating with our development team on the implementation of modernization, automation, and optimization of the overall architecture
• Supporting analysis, data migrations, tests, and technical documentation

Qualification

• Multiple years of professional experience in C# / .NET, ideally with first experiences with APIs and Blazor

• Good knowledge of T-SQL, data modeling, and normalization

• Fundamental experience using AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, AI-based refactoring tools, SQL optimizer-AI)

• Safe handling of AI-supported workflows such as:

• Code generation

• Error analysis

• Architecture refactoring

• Test case creation

• Documentation automation

• Analytical thinking and structured, independent working style

• Interest in modern software architectures and joy in actively participating in technological change

• Desirable: Experience with version control systems (e.g. GitHub, Azure DevOps)

• Good German language skills in writing and speaking

• Safe handling of English technical literature and AI documentation
