Project Description:

To support our team at a renowned customer in the defense technology sector, we are looking for a Software Developer (m/w/d) C++ in permanent employment at K-tronik. If this sounds interesting, we look forward to your application!

Tasks:

Conceptualization, development, and maintenance of a cross-sectional software platform
Requirements analysis and specification of the software architecture
Strategic further development of the platform as well as the associated development processes
Consultation and support for other development teams in using and integrating the platform
Software development in C++, possibly also in Rust and TypeScript, target platforms: Linux, QNX, FreeRTOS
Selection and control of external development partners
Agile software development according to SCRUM
Use of modern technologies and tools, e.g.: C++17/20, Rust, Web technologies, Git, Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence etc.), CMake, catch2, sqlite, buildroot

Qualifications:

Studies in computer science or comparable degree program (at least Bachelor's level)
At least 5 years of professional experience in IT, preferably as a software architect (m/w/d)
Very good knowledge of C++ or Rust
Experience with buildroot, Docker, XML, JSON, Git, Bamboo
Knowledge in middleware/socket programming (TCP/UDP, DDS, CANopen)
Experience with real-time data processing, event, and workflow control
Safe handling of MS Office, Atlassian tools
Negotiation-proof German and English
Experience with agile development (SCRUM)

A plus is:
Knowledge in IT security, virtualization, Web technologies
Experience with Xilinx Zynq, external partners, and CI/CD processes
