Our customer is an internationally successful, family-owned logistics and technology company with its headquarters in Kempten in the Allgäu. As one of the leading providers for transport, warehousing, and IT-supported supply chain solutions, the company develops its own, highly modern software systems to control global logistics processes.

In an innovative, agile IT environment with over 800 colleagues, solutions are being developed here that are used daily by international teams and continuously further developed.

Aufgaben

• New and further development of the company's own system for Air & Sea Logistics
• Use of modern development tools and environments like Java, Maven, IntelliJ, Eclipse, Visual Studio, Angular, GitLab, Artifactory
• Application of modern development methods such as Domain-driven Design and agile development according to Scrum and Kanban
• Creation of technical documentation and test scenarios
• Development of database concepts, batch programs, and frontend applications based on professional requirements
• Independent implementation of requirements up to the point of readiness for implementation in close cooperation with requirement engineers and departmental specialists

Qualifikation

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent training with relevant practical experience
• Fundamental understanding of modern software development methods
• Good knowledge of at least one modern programming language such as Java, Angular, or comparable
• Familiarity with tools like IntelliJ, Eclipse, Visual Studio, Maven, GitLab, and ideally Jira and Confluence
• Pleasure in teamwork and various tasks with development opportunities in full-stack, backend, and web services
• Independent, solution-oriented, and quality-conscious working style
• Very good German and English skills
