Software Developer for Test Systems (all genders)
Job description
You take on challenges like
the development of software for orchestrating HiL systems
programming and implementing software solutions in Python and C#
test automation, including design and implementation of a platform for automated control of test systems, as well as the development of scripts and frameworks to improve efficiency
participation throughout the entire software lifecycle, from specification to design and implementation to acceptance tests
the further development of software architecture taking into account existing interfaces
test management, including definition, implementation, and monitoring of automated tests as well as analysis of test results for continuous improvement of the software (e.g. with Jenkins, Git, VeriStand)
process optimization through application and integration of a V-Model approach in combination with agile methods
the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation to ensure quality and traceability
You inspire us by
a completed degree in computer science or a comparable field, supplemented by relevant work experience in software development
in-depth knowledge of software development with Python and Git, particularly in the area of automation solutions as well as implementation of Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines
experience with the programming language C#, ideally supplemented by practical application
knowledge and experience with VeriStand as well as real-time systems from National Instruments (NI), which you use profitably
a self-reliant, solution-oriented working style as well as high reliability, willingness to take on responsibility, and availability
excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work effectively in a team
your negotiation-proof language skills in German and good knowledge of English
