Software Developer Desktop React Native (m/w/d)

Developer (m/w/d) for software for desktops under Windows and optionally macOS based on React Native, full-time at the earliest possible start date.

Locations: Pforzheim, Cologne or also 100% remote.

We are looking for a software developer (m/w/d) with the ability to quickly get into new problem situations and solve them efficiently with the support of our team. We develop an innovative fitness ecosystem for our Galileo Vibrations plates.

Tasks

As a new member of our team, you are responsible for developing the desktop application for Windows (and optionally macOS) for planning and managing training plans in fitness studios.

• Conceptualization and development of a desktop application with React Native for Windows/macOS
• Implementation of training plan management (create exercises, assemble plans)
• Development of a native module for USB card readers/RFID access
• Unit tests with Jest, E2E tests with Maestro
• Code reviews and pair programming in the team
• Tech documentation

Qualification

Very good knowledge of React or React Native with TypeScript.

• Experience with State Management (MobX, Redux, Zustand or similar)
• Understanding of Clean Code Principles
• Experience with Git and code reviews
• Knowledge in unit testing (Jest or similar)
• Self-motivated, structured work style
• Good German and English skills
• Residence in Germany

Helpful experiences:

• Experience with desktop development or React Native for Windows/macOS
• Knowledge of C++ or native Windows development
• Experience with USB/Hardware communication
• Interest in fitness technology
