Software Developer C++/Qt (m/w/d) – Full-time | Munich

We are looking for you to join our partner company in Munich as a „Software Developer C++/Qt (m/w/d)“.

Tasks

• You will develop and configure simulation networks, as well as hardware and software components for simulation and training systems.
• As a software developer, you will program and expand simulation software in C++ and Qt under Linux and Windows.
• In addition, you will integrate network and hardware interfaces, perform commissioning, and accompany tests on site and at the customer's premises.
• You will analyze requirements, coordinate technical solutions with system engineers, and create architecture and design documentation.
• In addition, you will further develop unit and subsystem tests and optimize the stability and performance of the simulation software.

Qualification

• The foundation is a completed degree in computer science, software technology, or a training as an application developer (m/w/d) or a comparable qualification.
• If possible, you will bring professional experience as a software developer (m/w/d), C++ developer (m/w/d), software engineer (m/w/d), or application developer (m/w/d).
• You possess fundamental knowledge in the development with C++, Qt, and STL, as well as experience with Linux, Windows, and distributed software systems.
• In addition, knowledge of network protocols (IPv4, IPv6, TCP, UDP), PostgreSQL, Protobuf, and ideally Cisco switches is advantageous.
• Important are a structured and self-reliant working style, team skills, and conversational German language skills.
