Your tasks

As a Software Developer Automation Technology (m/f/d), you will develop and optimize our control and automation solutions for industrial steam generator systems and support them from development to commissioning.

• Development and further development of PLC software for our steam generators and systems

• Programming and optimization of control and automation solutions

• Creation and further development of visualizations

• Analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging of existing software solutions

• Conducting tests and supporting commissioning

• Creation of technical documentation

• Close collaboration with the departments of design, electrical engineering, production, and service

Your profile

• Successfully completed further training as a Technician (m/f/d), a degree, or a comparable qualification in the fields of automation technology, mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or industrial informatics

• Experience in PLC programming and the development of automation solutions

• Knowledge of at least one common PLC programming system, e.g., Codesys or Siemens TIA Portal – programming language ST

• Experience in creating visualizations and working with industrial control systems is an advantage

• Strong skills in troubleshooting, analysis, and debugging

• Interest in technical contexts and in the further development of existing automation solutions

• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working

• Team player, strong communication skills, and a high awareness of quality

• Good German language skills as well as English language skills for technical documentation
