• Shape Software Architecture: You will develop and be responsible for the technical architecture of our software and make well-founded architectural decisions together with the team.
• Technical Consulting: You will advise development teams and business units on technical issues, evaluate different approaches, and find pragmatic solutions.
• Connect Energy & Software: You will combine your understanding of software development and the energy industry and translate business requirements into viable technical concepts.
• Implement Architecture: You will accompany development from technical conception to productive implementation and ensure that architectural decisions are also realized in the product.
• Sparring & Standards: You will be a technical sparring partner for our developers, provide orientation on complex issues, and further develop technical standards together with the team.
• Take Responsibility: You will take responsibility for a part of our utility development and contribute your experience to continuously improve our software and processes.
• Help Build: You will have creative freedom and actively participate in building up our energy provider division.

• You will know our system landscape and architecture.
• You will take on initial architectural topics yourself.
• You will contribute as a sparring partner to development.
• You will make initial architectural decisions and set impulses.
• You will actively shape the further development of our software landscape.

• Experience: You have several years of experience in software development and ideally already experience as a Software Architect, Technical Lead, or in a comparable role.
• Energy Industry: You know the energy industry and understand the business contexts related to energy providers.
• Architectural Understanding: You can grasp complex technical relationships, make well-founded architectural decisions, and communicate them understandably.
• Consulting Skills: You enjoy working as a technical sparring partner, asking the right questions, and bringing together different perspectives.
• Drive for Innovation & Optimization: You question existing solutions, identify potential for improvement, and bring new ideas to implementation.
• Self-Responsibility: You work in a structured manner, make decisions, and navigate confidently in an environment with a high degree of creative freedom.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with product responsibility as well as Python, Airflow, Pandas, energy flow forecasting, or energy procurement and intraday trading.
