Software Architect - (m/w/d)

We're looking for someone who's excited to take our Java applications to the next level! Do you love working with modern SQL and PostgreSQL, solving exciting challenges? And do you feel at home in the world of Linux and frontend technologies like React? Then we're looking for exactly you!

Tasks

• Further development and optimization of our Java applications using modern Java.
• Development of database-related functions that bring PostgreSQL to life with your SQL knowledge – preferably without the use of ORMs.
• Collaboration on our frontend applications with React.
• Closely working together with the team to implement requirements in performant and scalable software.
• Participation in code reviews, pair programming, and continuous improvement of our development processes.

Qualification

• Multiple years of experience in software development, preferably with modern Java.
• Familiarity with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
• Pleasure in working directly with SQL and implementing solutions without ORM.
• Experience with Linux environments and a good understanding of operating systems.
• Ideal experience with React or willingness to get familiar with frontend technologies.
• A completed MINT study or comparable qualification.
• Pleasure in taking responsibility in an agile team and bringing in your own ideas.
