Software Architect (m/f/d)

Your Tasks
In this role, you will take on central responsibility for the architecture of our complex and highly available software systems. You will analyze technical and functional requirements, develop sustainable architectural concepts from them, and ensure that our systems remain scalable, secure, and future-proof. You will act as a connecting element between development, business departments, and customers.
- You actively contribute to challenging and complex software as well as highly available systems.
- You analyze complex requirements from customers and business departments and derive future-oriented, economical, and secure architectural specifications.
- You plan, design, and create sustainable concepts for a distributed, service-oriented system.
- You conduct regular architecture and code reviews to ensure compliance with standards, maintainability, and security guidelines.
- You support and advise our business departments as well as system development on all questions concerning software architecture.
- You design, maintain, and document modern infrastructure and software architectures, especially in the context of orchestrated environments.
- You continuously educate yourself in new technologies and frameworks, evaluate them, and test them prototypically if necessary.
- You have a holistic view, but also actively get hands-on with our systems and interfaces when needed.
Your Profile
- You have a completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification with in-depth IT background.
- You possess good or very good knowledge in the field of software architecture and software design.
- You have sound and practically tested knowledge of working with Linux.
- You are strong in the area of orchestrated environments (e.g., container orchestration) and ideally already have experience with Docker, Ansible, or common monitoring tools (Grafana, InfluxDB).
- Experience in structuring distributed systems and service-oriented architectures is a matter of course for you.
- You have very good communication and presentation skills to convincingly convey your concepts and review results.
- You have fluent German language skills, good English language skills, and are prepared for occasional project-related travel.
- You have broad knowledge of architectural principles, design patterns, and abstract concepts that you can confidently map to practical business requirements.
