Transparency regarding salary:

This position is aimed at candidates with more than 3 years of professional experience.

The salary range lies between €60,000 and €70,000 per year, depending on experience.

Work model: Full-time, Hybrid (3 days a week in the office).

Location: Nuremberg (North)

Muxon is a small, globally active personnel agency and conducts this search on behalf of our partner - a German-based technology company that develops solutions for digital workforce management and software. We are looking for a Software Test Engineer who will build up and strengthen our newly established testing department and ensure high product quality, stability, and performance of web-based applications.

Tasks

  • Planning and execution of manual and automated tests (Unit, Integration, System, E2E, Regression)

  • Definition and maintenance of test cases, test plans, and test strategies

  • Ensuring software quality in terms of functionality, user experience (UX), security, performance, and reliability

  • Analysis, documentation, and communication of errors to development teams

  • Closely working with developers in an agile environment and participating in Sprint ceremonies

  • Supporting 2nd- and 3rd-level error resolution and continuous improvement of test coverage

Qualification

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in manual and automated software testing

  • Experience with test automation, integration tests, and unit tests

  • Programming knowledge in JavaScript and C#

  • Good understanding of QA methods and test strategies

  • German: C2 level; English: fluent (at least B2)
