Tasks

As a Software Tester (m/w/d), you will – as part of a cross-functional Scrum team – contribute to ensuring the excellent quality of our PGXperts system. You will work with software developers and other software testers together to ensure that software deliveries meet the defined requirements. With our own developed software system PGXperts, we support medical professionals in complex questions about medication therapy and treatment guidance based on individual genetic data of their patients.

• You design and conceptualize test cases from software requirements
• You create test specifications
• You conceptualize and develop existing and new automated tests further
• You conduct manual and automated software testing, as well as documentation of test results
• You work on continuous improvement of tests and test methods
• You support individual departments in error analysis
• You test software within a certified development process

Qualification

• You have completed a natural science or technical degree or equivalent
• You bring initial professional experience in industrial software development (desirable)
• You possess basic knowledge of test methods, test tools, and test processes
• You have ideally experienced automated testing processes, e.g., with frameworks like Pytest
• You possess knowledge in the areas of Linux, Docker, Git, and Jenkins
• You have high quality standards for your work and work structured and independently
• You possess very good German and English language skills
