Software Tester (m/w/d)

Your Tasks

As a Software Tester, you will work with our UX Designers and Developers to create innovative User Interfaces for customers from various industries. You will be responsible for both new developments and further developments of existing applications in an agile environment. You will plan and manage the quality assurance independently and take responsibility for the quality and functionality of the developed software.

Typical tasks include:

• Development of test strategies and methods in close coordination with the rest of the team
• Specification and implementation of meaningful software tests
• Implementation of automated testing methods
• Verification of software for vulnerabilities, risks, and especially hidden errors
• Dokumentation, evaluation, and communication of test results. Thanks to individual further education opportunities, you will always be up-to-date with the latest technology. At the same time, you can let your ideas run free through active participation in innovation projects and realize exciting projects with your team.

Your Skills

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
• First practical experiences in software testing and quality assurance, especially from modern web applications, for example Single Page Applications
• Solid knowledge of test procedures and software development in general
• Knowledge of tools for automated testing, such as Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools
• Desirable: experience with API testing and testing native mobile apps
• Desirable: ISTQB certification
• Interest in understanding the operational processes and workflows of our customers and deriving test scenarios from them
• Desirable: experience with AI-based workflows in testing, for example to efficiently generate test cases, support test conception, or create automated tests
• High quality and responsibility awareness
• Eye for aesthetics, design, and faithful implementation
• You speak German and English fluently.
