Software Test Lead

ob Title: Lead Software Application Tester Job Summary: We are looking for a bilingual (English and Spanish), detail-oriented Lead Software Application Tester with hands-on experience testing enterprise software applications on rugged mobile devices (e.g., Zebra, Honeywell, Android handhelds) and RFID-enabled hardware. The ideal candidate will lead a team of software testers and in addition do hands-on validation of functionality, performance, and reliability of applications across various devices and platforms. This includes testing for compatibility with different operating systems, browsers, and mobile devices. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. In addition, the ideal candidate should have experience working with Agile methodologies and be familiar with test automation tools such as Selenium or Appium. As a Lead Software Application Tester, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing testing activities to ensure high-quality software applications are delivered on time and within budget. This includes developing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts, as well as identifying and reporting defects. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and quality assurance to ensure that testing is aligned with business objectives. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools, and be able to apply this knowledge to lead a team of testers in delivering high-quality software applications.
