Job Description

As Test Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in increasing the quality of our client's software products. You are responsible for designing and executing automated tests, including setting up mocking and datasets within a TAF environment. From the start of each user story, you will work closely with functional analysts and developers, thereby contributing proactively to the quality of our solutions.

You will be part of a strategic project where a monolithic application is transformed into a microservice structure, comparable to a banking application and an accounting management system. Collaboration with priority teams such as accounting, transactions, orders, rules or interfaces is essential. You will follow the guidelines of the QA&C team and work closely with the coordinator of automated tests.

Main Tasks

• Designing and executing recurring tests, including mocking and datasets in the TAF environment.

• Working together with functional analysts and developers from the start of each user story.

• Anticipating project needs and flexibly responding to changes within an interdisciplinary environment.

• Reporting on software quality to various stakeholders.

• Drafting test plans and documenting results of automated tests.

• Leveraging in determining test automation strategy, test coverage, tools, and test architecture.

• Counseling and guiding colleagues within the testing domain.
