Software Supporter (1st/2nd Level) - Alpha Online (m/f/d)

As a supporter at Alpha Online, you are the first point of contact for car dealerships that use AlphaController to manage their daily business: from used car valuation to sales.

Alpha Online develops process management software for the professional used car trade in Germany. Our core product, AlphaController, manages all work processes in a car dealership – from vehicle valuation to sales. Our customers include Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Volkswagen, Porsche, and Audi. Since 2024, we have been part of CarOnSale, the AI-powered operating system for B2B used car trading in Europe.

Your Responsibilities

• You are the first point of contact for our customers by phone and email – 1st level with the perspective of 2nd level – and maintain an administrative overview of all ongoing cases
• You configure AlphaController precisely to the requirements of each customer – from feature activation to authorization structures
• You analyze dependencies and sources of error in the software before they become a problem for the customer
• You manually test every release thoroughly and enter tickets so that only error-free software reaches the customer
• In case of errors at the interface to our partners, you get to the bottom of the cause, communicate directly with interface partners and internal development, and contribute to the resolution

What You Bring

• At least three years of experience in direct customer contact or support
• Technical understanding of complex software processes and interfaces
• Analytical, structured way of working – you recognize dependencies before they become a problem
• Enjoy direct customer contact and finding the right solution for each customer
• German at C2 level, English at least B2 in speaking and writing

Advantageous

• Experience in the automotive sector
• IT/Software training, e.g., as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker:in)
