Software Senior Engineer for PowerFlex (Storage Data Path, C++) @ Dell Technologies

Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements 5 years of hands-on experience with one or more of the following: storage, device drivers, databases, embedded software/firmware development, Linux, networking. Experienced-level programming skills with intermediate proficiency in C/C++ and basic knowledge of Python. Experience and understanding of Linux internals, including system calls, process management, memory management, and file systems. Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns. Experience with software development methodologies, including Agile. Ability to debug complex software issues. Experience with performance analysis and optimization. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Desirable Requirements Experience with PowerFlex or other storage systems. Experience with multi-threaded programming. Experience with distributed systems. Experience with networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, iSCSI, Fibre Channel). Experience with virtualization technologies. Experience with cloud technologies.
